"Beyond the Game: Career Pathways for BIPOC & Low-SES Athletes" is an empowering online course designed specifically for postsecondary athletes who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, as well as those from low socioeconomic backgrounds. This course focuses on equipping participants with vital career development tools and social work principles to successfully transition from athletics to sustainable career opportunities. Through engaging programming, mentorship, and practical resources, participants will explore their multidimensional identities while building economic mobility. By the end of this course, participants will gain insights into various career pathways, develop actionable career plans, and connect with a national network of support, fostering both psychological well-being and professional growth.
